Grainne is Managing Director of Sunrise Financial Planning and recently qualified as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. She has over 26 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry having worked with two of the largest Insurance Companies in Ireland, as well as other Brokerages. This gives her great insight into both sides of the business. Gráinne prides herself on providing a professional and friendly service to all our clients.
Gráinne has a particular interest in helping women with their finances and addressing the gap in pension coverage for females.
Outside work, Gráinne is kept busy with her three children and her energetic dog Bella, however, she still finds some time to head out in the great outdoors.

Deirdre joined Sunrise Financial Planning Ltd. in 2004 and is our Office Manager. She is front of house; responsible for the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis. Deirdre’s knowledge of the Life Companies and their processing systems, and her helpful approach, make her an invaluable member of our team. She was previously also one of the top three finalists for the Customer Service Awards from the Young Irish Brokers Association (YIBA). Deirdre has extensive customer service experience, having previously worked with GE Capital within its Premium and Complaint Handling Department.
She is married to Rob, an avid football fan, and they have their hands full with their young daughter Emma (who is in the delightful toddler phase at the moment!).

Likes: Reality shows like ‘Making It’ and the ‘Great British Bake Off’… Positive and feel good television that leaves you amazed at what people can create, and a little inspired to try your hand at things too.

Pet Peeves: Daylight savings time… Who can even remember what it is really for, or why we still do it!

Qualified Financial Adviser with over 24 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry and that’s following a career change. Fiona has a multi-faceted role where she is actively involved in all areas of the business; working closely with our Director Gráinne and clients helping them to put their financial goals in place. Fiona has specialised in the Pensions Area with a Professional Diploma in Retirement Planning Advice and Professional Certificate in Pension Scheme Trusteeship. In 2020 she obtained the Specialist Investment Adviser designation.

Fiona enjoys spending time with her family who are sports fanatics – playing GAA, Rugby, Soccer, Hockey and Volleyball. When not driving to training and matches, she can be found walking and hiking with her family and dogs.
